I have been wanting to do a motorcycle photo shoot for awhile now. I'm talking about years. Partly because motorcycles have a unique culture. The bikes themselves, and the people who ride them, are a mix of sexy, cool, untamed, and mysterious.What really prompted me to finally make the commitment was when my husband bought his first bike. This gorgeous Harley Davidson 1200 Custom Sportster sat there in the garage calling to me. I just had to find the right person and location. Finding the location was not difficult. Tomball Texas has a historical district that is simply picturesque. Plenty of backgrounds to choose from. The last piece of the puzzle now was the model. I collaborated with fellow photographer, Yasmine Cannady, to help find a model that exuded the style I was searching for. What helped was the excitement the model had to get a chance to do a motorcycle shoot! Nothing is better than photographing a model that is excited about the concept. When this happens the photos turn out phenomenal. The joy shows in the photos. I look forward to doing more motorcycle themed shoots. Creating a styled portrait of you and your own motorcycle to hang the wall would be my pleasure.
